If you are craving some caffeine and appreciate a tasty cup of coffee, head over to Brew Coffee Bar nestled in downtown Matawan. Their coffee is delicious! Try the local favorite, Coffee Palmer, which takes a twist on an Arnold Palmer. Instead of tea, coffee is used! Or the Cascara Spritz, a coffee style soda. The Twix Coffee cold brew was awesome just the right amount of sweetness, reminiscent of the candy bar. They also serve teas, chai, lattes, scones and other delectables.

Great local coffee shop, you can tell the person behind the counter was knowledgeable and passionate for coffee there a bunch of different options of coffee beans to try as well as a bunch of cool latte drinks. It is on Main Street so parking can be a little difficult but the coffee is worth it !!

Who would have thought that this small humble coffee shop in Matawan New Jersey would serve the most amazing pour over coffee I've ever had? After doing some business in the area, I wandered over to this nearby coffee shop. I searched ahead of time because I knew I wanted to hang there and do some work on my PC. When I got there, the owner was very knowledgeable about all the different coffees and blends and convinced me to get the Nicaraguan. The presentation was amazing in a little mini carafe and I partnered it with the most delicious banana bread served in a little tin with a spork that was actually baked at a nearby bakery. I'm a baker and it was absolutely delicious. Paired with some eclectic and amazing jazz music in the background. I worked there for a few hours and it was such a pleasure. I fully recommend anyone in this area go there have a great conversation with the owner and really enjoy some delicious coffee.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Matawan, and maybe in the whole region. The owner is super friendly, and they know how to brew a great coffee! You won't find "regular coffee" here. Their selection is amazing, you can choose a lighter or darker roast, drip coffee etc. Even their tea selection is worth exploring. When I was there they had apple cider donuts, which is perfect for this weather 🥰 Could not recommend more!

REALLY nice pour over coffee, I’ve never had such a pleasant cup. This is the first time I’ve ever had a non-acidic coffee with floral elements; I think the owner helped us out today and he really does seem like a coffee master! Gave us some pro tips on using the French press.

BEST CUP OF COFFEE IN THE WORLD ☕️🌎 I have learned so much about the world of coffee unlike any other coffee shop has! The owner Brandon doesn’t mess around when it comes to coffee beans and brewing methods. Also the events that go on provide a sense of community. If you’ve never been here before, no matter what time of day it is, go over there and try something new! Everything is unique and amazing.

As a fellow specialty coffee lover and home barista. Stumbling upon Brandon’s humble coffee shop was something I didn’t realize I was missing in my life! Making small talk and diving into the variety of coffee processing and flavor notes, made my heart sing. If you love light roast pour overs, stop by and enjoy delicious cup with Brandon!

Brew Coffee Bar is a special place to me. The owner, Brandon, is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee. I have learned a lot from talking to him and trying all sorts of new unique types of coffee. Brandon makes great coffee by the cup in the shop, and if you follow his advice you can also make a great cup at home with the bags of beans he sells. Also, try a lemonade or coffee palmer, you won’t be disappointed. I also love the community aspect where Brandon hosts poetry and music and always highlights local talent. There are open mics and other social gatherings, and he is always there for the local community events. The conversation is always interesting with people who stop by as well.
